Performance clips- simple and direct
Conceptual clips- further broken down into narrative and artistic.
Narrative clip contains a visual story that is easy to follow. A pure narrative clip contains no lip synchronised singing.
Apesh*t: the way they edited some of the shots in the music video was very simple but even though it was simple it was used in a precise and good way. In the the music video jay-z and Beyonce are presented as king and queen. These two artists are like king and queen of the music industry. They use low angle shots to create a sense of power and importance.
